My name is Aikaterini Haraktsis and I am the founder of **Deipno (deepno).** My brand consists of gastronomical delights with an elaborate line of tea and spice blends. **Deipno** means dinner in Greek and in ancient times it was seen as an art form for a life of luxury. In fact, Archestratus, a poet and philosopher, revealed the secrets of ancient Greek cuisine. The word gastronomy, which means the art of choosing, cooking and eating good food, is accredited to him. Those secrets have transcended the generations of time.

As a food enthusiast, my journey began as a little girl growing up in Greece and spending time in my grandmother's kitchen. I would be overcome by a sense of excitement when she opened up the cupboards and I discovered the hidden treasures. What a delight it was to watch her create masterpieces with amazing aromas that consisted of quality ingredients. I especially remember helping her carefully hand-pick all the herbs from the mountains that we would then add to the meal. Perhaps the secret ingredient was that all this was made with enormous love. She took pride in sharing "Deipno" with her family and friends.

My grandmother inspired my journey of helping others to create an indulgence of the senses. I would like to invite you on this journey with me! Together we will make countless combinations of my innovative gastronomy blending spices from the mountains of Greece and around the world.
